Privacy Policy

Calculator inputs: Calculations run in your browser. Our custom usage events identify the calculator and actions such as producing a result, recalculating, printing, copying, viewing buying options, or opening a shopping link. These events do not include your project labels, measurements, entered prices, feedback message, or precise location.

Connected lawn planning: If you choose to carry lawn areas between Sod and Topsoil, measured square footage and units are temporarily saved in this browser tab. The destination consumes and removes the transfer; transfers older than five minutes are ignored. No labels, soil depths, waste settings, prices, or measurements are put in the link or custom analytics event.

Analytics: The production site uses Google Tag Manager to load Google Analytics 4. Google Analytics may use cookies and process page views, referrers, device and browser information, approximate location, and usage events to help us understand site performance. Google processes technical information according to its privacy policies. Browser settings and blocking tools may limit this collection.

Feedback: When you submit the feedback form, the message, submission time, IP address, and an optional email address are sent to the site operator by email. Hosting and email services process this information to deliver the message and operate the site. Please do not submit sensitive personal information. The site does not currently offer a newsletter signup.

External links: Retailer and supplier-search links take you to third-party websites, which apply their own privacy policies and may receive ordinary browser and referral information. Our merchant-click events record the destination hostname and link placement, not your search location or project inputs. The current Mulch buying-options links are unpaid. Paid relationships will be disclosed if introduced.

Service records: Hosting providers may maintain access and security logs. Feedback is handled in the operator’s mailbox for responding to requests and maintaining the service. Contact us with questions about information you have submitted, including requests to access, correct, or delete it.
